ABOUT TEXTURES
Textures is a grounding ASMR experience focused on gentle texture, rhythm, and repetition. Designed for those who find steadier, more tactile sensory input calming, this treatment supports relaxation through slow, predictable patterns rather than light tingles.
The ExperienceTextures unfolds at an unhurried pace, using repetition and rhythm to help the nervous system feel supported and settled. The focus is on steady movements, and subtle variation.

ASMR, or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, is a calming sensory experience that many people find deeply soothing and relaxing. At OneSixteen Studio, we use gentle, light touch, and carefully selected tools to create subtle ASMR sensations that help your body and mind settle into a quieter, more restful state.
-
No. This is not a massage therapy service. Tingles is a sensory relaxation experience using light touch, sound, and tool-assisted ASMR techniques. No deep pressure or corrective bodywork is used.
-
Your comfort always comes first. Adjustments can be made at any time, and you’re never expected to “push through” discomfort.
Textures is a gentle, sensory-based experience, but there are some situations where an ASMR session may need to be postponed, adjusted, or avoided for comfort and safety.
ASMR services may not be suitable if you:
Have a contagious illness (such as a cold, flu, or skin infection)
Are experiencing acute pain, injury, or inflammation in the neck, shoulders, arms, or scalp
Have open wounds, rashes, burns, or active skin conditions in the treatment areas
Have recently had surgery, medical procedures, or injections affecting the neck, scalp, or upper body
Experience severe sensory sensitivity where light touch, sound, or repetition feels distressing rather than calming
Have a condition where light touch or auditory stimulation triggers discomfort, panic, or dissociation
Are experiencing a migraine or severe headache on the day of your appointment
Please note that ASMR services are not recommended for anyone who finds light touch, repetitive sounds, or close-proximity sensory input uncomfortable or unsettling.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax fully while lying face-down. Soft fabrics are ideal. You’ll only need to remove your top for the treatment, and you can keep your bra on if you’re more comfortable.
-
Yes — many clients drift into light sleep. You’re welcome to rest as deeply as your body allows. There’s no need to stay awake.
-
Yes, absolutely. All elements of the experience are adjustable. You’re welcome to request less touch, fewer tools, more stillness, or changes at any point during your session.
